new nForce 100, SLI on INTEL chipset
INTEL have solution SLI in the portables device, manufacturer NVIDIA found an agreement with INTEL to associate a chipset specific with name nForce 100 to a chipset INTEL 945PM or 965PM.
The nVidia nForce 100 will make it possible to connect two graphics boards to the chipset with technology SLI. The nVidia nForce 100 being limited to the management of 16 lines NCV Express, the graphics boards will be cabled in NCV Express line 8x. Alienware, top of the range reputation, will be the first manufacturer to propose a portable Core 2 Duo with two graphics boards in SLI mode. For the moment, Area-51 m9750 will be satisfied with a chipset INTEL 945PM and 2x GeForce Go 7950GTX while waiting for the integrated to chipset 965PM and GeForce 8800M series.
