After the launch of GeForce 8600M, the mobile version of 8600GT, nVIDIA announces the launch of GeForce 8700M WP. nVIDIA GeForce 8700M WP using 80 nm, 32 stream processors. nVIDIA GeForce 8700M WP had more core clock 625 MHz than GeForce 8600M WP 475 MHz. With using the GDDR3 memories, the performance also improved and now the memory clock at 1600 MHz, 128bits memory bandwith, and had 512 MB memory.

nVIDIA say that the TDP of nVIDIA GeForce 8700M WP only 35 Watts.
