Review Gigabyte 8600GTS Silentpipe 3

Gigabyte United as the famous graphics card producen release the new product with chipset NVIDIA GeForce 8600GTS (G84) with model name Gigabyte GV-NX86S256H. This graphics card supporting DirectX 10 that target for mainstream users for replacing nVidia GeForce 7900GS/GT.
As usually, Benny Lodewijk as Gigabyte Representative today had test over the GV-NX86S256H.

On the package, the other from CD Driver is the Full Version Game Supreme Commander as the bonus. The DVI to D-SUB converter and HD-TV Bracket include. For the utility hardware monitoring and overclocking, Gigabyte give the V-Tuner3 for easy to overclocking on GPU clock and memory clock.

Not like the other brand who using nVidia reference, Gigabyte release the product using own design, from the PCB, layout, until the capasitor. The unique from this Gigabyte GV-NX86S256H is using the solid capacitor for all capasitor.

Motherboard Gigabyte GA-***-DQ6 (because for some reason from NDA, the model can’t be published, but personally i think this is P35 - DQ6 with Intel Bearlake chipset)

Conclusion:
The benchmark for this time only on default clock only, but if we look the performance, I think not quite different from the other 8600GTS card. But something make special from Gigabyte that The Silent Pipe 3 Cooling that looks cool. Like the other 8600GTS card, the performance really-really make me dissapointed for the new technology.
