AMD will immediately launch the next generation GPU Radeon with GPU code name R600. For the specification personally, according to AMD, core GPU this will be formed the numbering transistor 700 million units. As the comparison, the series of Radeon X1900 (R580) only had the transistor at 384 million units. GPU R600 this will have controller memory bandwith 512 bit and using memory GDDR3 dah GDDR4.

In launching, R600 will be present as ATI Radeon X2900XTX, and was gotten in two variants, that is the OEM version and the retail version.
In the OEM version, the video card this more was aimed to be used to the build up computer and had the dimension in a long board reached 12 inch.
For the version retail, was aimed for the normal consumer and was present with the long dimension board 9,5 inch as well as was equipped dual slot cooling solution. The cooling kind used the vapor chamber. This cooler is usually used on high end CPU.
Was based on AMD reference, the video card that was based on GPU R600 will use 80nm and 65nm technology. R600 will have memory as 1 GB GDDR4. However still got the choice for the video card R600 that still used memory GDDR3, that was present by the name of ATI Radeon X2900XT, with the capacity memory 512 MB and the core clock was lower compared with the version X2900XTX. did still not have the assurance concerning this VGA launching.

The other feature, still like before that is crossfire support. R600 not need again the master card and slave card, now will use the internal connection bridge, and R600 support native HDMI that was integrated.
From the side of the requirement for the power, apparently the version R600 this will be more frugal compared with his rival of Nvidia with code name G80.
Last issue that i’ve got, AMD R600 will launch all of entry classes, from low end entry, mainstream and highend entry and will launch in Tunisia, Africa on April. Is that true? only AMD can answer all of the issue :D
